Matagami : Est décédée au Centre de santé Isle-Dieu de Matagami, le 14 avril 2026, à l'âge de 95 ans, Madame Doris Doughan, domiciliée à Matagami, fille de feu Leo Doughan et de feu Celia Marcotte, épouse de feu Robert Steffan.
Madame Doughan laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : David, Douglas, Patrick, Eileen (Mike Martin), feu Linda et Paul (Lisa McTavish); ses petits-enfants : Jennifer Martin (Michaël Paquin), Ty Steffan; ses arrière-petits-enfants : Emma et Théo Lecompte; ses frères et soeurs : feu Lee (feu Rudy Jalonen), feu Joan (feu André Fortin), feu Victor (feu Mary Elvin), Helen (Ted Hewitt), ses neveux et nièces ainsi que de nombreux parents et ami (e) s.
La famille tient à remercier tout le personnel soignant du CHSLD de Matagami pour les bons soins prodigués.

Madame Doughan sera exposée à l'église de Matagami le samedi 9 mai 2026, de 14 h à 16 h.
Une cérémonie aura lieu le samedi 9 mai 2026 à 16 h à l'Église Sacré-Coeur de Matagami.
L'inhumation aura lieu au cimetière de Matagami à une date ultérieure.

Matagami: Mrs. Doris Doughan passed away at the Isle-Dieu Health Centre in Matagami on April 14, 2026, at the age of 95. She was a resident of Matagami, daughter of the late Leo Doughan and the late Celia Marcotte, and the wife of the late Robert Steffan.
Mrs. Doughan is survived by her children: David, Douglas, Patrick, Eileen (Mike Martin), the late Linda, and Paul (Lisa McTavish); her grandchildren: Jennifer Martin (Michaël Paquin) and Ty Steffan; her great-grandchildren: Emma and Théo Lecompte; her siblings: the late Lee (the late Rudy Jalonen), the late Joan (the late André Fortin), the late Victor (the late Mary Elvin), and Helen (Ted Hewitt); as well as her nieces and nephews and many relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank all the caregiving staff at the Matagami long-term care center (CHSLD) for the excellent care provided.

Mrs. Doughan will lie in state at the church in Matagami on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
A ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Church in Matagami.
Burial will take place at the Matagami cemetery at a later date.
