At the age of 88 years, our mother, Mary-Jane Snoy Valant (Jenny) passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 11th, 2020. Daughter of John Snoy and Mary Kochevar. She is predeceased by our Dad, Stanley Valant, the love of her life and her prince, as well as by her son, Dennis Valant. Mom is survived by her children Stanley Jr. (Francine); Richard; Marianne (André); Dianne (Michael); Glenn, Derek (Melissa) and 7 wonderful grandchildren Savannah (Christopher), Jessica (Jérémy); Julia (Matthew); Jeremy; Dannica; Jude and Shaughnessy. Due to Covid restrictions, a small service was held for family only. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Blessed Sacrament Parish in Rouyn-Noranda. Good-bye Mom, we love you and we know that you are now with dad and that you will be still watching over us all- we will always feel your presence.
