I was looking up your brother today on the internet and came upon this. Made me very sad. We remember your family from when our Uncle Peter Belavski had Peter's Dry Cleaners in Val d'Or and we used to visit quite often, and then when Gene moved to Ottawa, and I hung out with him quite a bit at local pubs until I moved to Toronto in 1998. Such sad news. Was always an interesting fellow, and he brings back memories of childhood and adultdhood. Eternal memory to Eugene!

Hello Alexander I just saw this notice. I am so sorry for the loss of your brother. I have thought of him often over the years and on a whim looked up his name. Sid was a terrific man. I knew him at Ottawa U when he went out for years with Marie one of my best friends. He spoke of his family very fondly especially of his parents love and loyalty. I wish to express my sincere condolences to you on the passing of Eugene. I went through elementary and high schools with him but lost touch many years ago.
