Rouyn-Noranda : Est décédée à l'Hôpital de Rouyn-Noranda, le 21 mars 2025, à l'âge de 100 ans, Madame Dorothy Nicola Watts, domiciliée à Rouyn-Noranda, fille de feu George Gunning Watts et de feu Edith Murrell, épouse de feu Clark Ives Lawton.
Madame Watts laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : Beverley, feu Christine et feu Alison; ses soeurs : feu Muriel et feu Kitty; ses neveux et nièces ainsi que de nombreux parents et amis (es).
La famille tient à remercier tout le personnel de l'Hôpital de Rouyn-Noranda, du CHSLD Pie-XII ainsi que la résidence St-Pierre pour les bons soins prodigués.
L'exposition et les funérailles de Madame Watts auront lieu à une date ultérieure.

Rouyn-Noranda: In loving memory of Mrs. Dorothy Nicola Watts, who passed away at the Rouyn-Noranda Hospital on March 21, 2025, at the age of 100. She was a resident of Rouyn-Noranda, but was born and raised in England. She was the daughter of the late George Gunning Watts and the late Edith Murrell, and wife of the late Clark Ives Lawton.
Mrs. Watts is survived by her children: Beverley, late Christine and late Alison; her sisters: late Muriel and late Kitty; her nieces and nephews as well as many relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the entire staff of the Rouyn-Noranda Hospital, the Pie-XII long term care facility and the St-Pierre Residence for the excellent care provided.
Mrs. Watts will be remembered and cherished as a loving wife and mother, but also as an amazing woman who served as a caring nurse during the second World War.
Mrs. Watts's funeral service will take place at a later date.
