Est décédé au CSSS de Rouyn-Noranda le 27 avril 2013, M. Robert Scanlan âgé de 82 ans, époux de Mme Rita Caron. Frère de feu Don Scanlan. Beaux-frère de feu Claude Caron. M. Robert « Bob » Scanlan laisse dans le deuil, outre son épouse, ses filles Gail (Claude Lafortune) et Lynn; ses petits-enfants Josée Lafortune et Richard Lafortune (Jennifer); ses arrière-petits-enfants Alexandre, Samuel, Benjamin et Éva; son frère Jimmy « Jim », Bernie et Basil « Buzz »; sa belle-sœur Claudette; ses beaux-frères Jacques, Jean-Guy, Gaétan, Benoît et Denis; plusieurs nièces et neveux ainsi que de nombreux amis.
Une cérémonie aura lieu à la chapelle du Complexe funéraire J.H. Fleury (515 ave. Chénier) vendredi 3 mai à 11h. La famille sera présente dès 10h pour recevoir vos condoléances. Un don à la fondation du Sourire de Martin serait grandement apprécié.
Passed away at the Rouyn-Noranda Hospital on April 27th 2013, Mr. Robert Scanlan at age 82. Beloved husband of Mrs. Rita Caron. Predeceased by his brother Don and brother-in-law Claude. Along with his loving wife, Robert « Bob » Scanlan is survived by his daughters Gail (Claude Lafortune) and Lynn; his grandchildren Josée Lafortune and Richard Lafortune (Jennifer); his great grandchildren Alexandre, Samuel, Benjamin and Éva; his brothers Jimmy « Jim », Bernie and Basil « Buzz »; his sister-in-law Claudette; brothers-in-law Jacques, Jean-Guy, Gaétan, Benoît and Denis; nieces and nephews as well as numerous friends.
Funeral service will be held in the chapel of Complexe Funéraire J.H. Fleury Funeral Home (515 Chenier ave.) Friday May 3 at 11 am. Family will receive friends and relative at the Funeral home 1 hour prior to the service. Donations to the Sourire de Martin Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
